Lithuania v Azerbaijan (League D2). Lithuania won 2-0 away at Liechtenstein on Thursday and report no injuries. They lost all six games in the last Nations League, though. Azerbaijan have been relegated to League D but come in on two wins. The last meeting was 0-0, and the overall record between them is one win each and one draw. Both sides are evenly matched and short of goals, so I expect a tight game.
Serbia v Netherlands (A2). Serbia have lost three in a row, including 1-2 at home to Greece. They haven't kept a clean sheet in 10 games and are without Vlahović (calf). The Netherlands are unbeaten in six under Xavi and came back to draw 1-1 against Germany. They're missing Brobbey (hamstring). Serbia's home crowd should help them score once, but the Dutch have more quality.
Denmark v Wales (A4). This is the most one-sided game of the day. Denmark have lost once in 22 home games, and seven of their last nine competitive matches had 3+ goals. Wales haven't won in five games this year. They're missing Wilson, Rodon, Darlow, Broadhead and Colwill, among others. Bookmakers have Denmark at around 12-25 (roughly 1.48 in decimal odds). Denmark also need points after losing 3-2 in Norway.
Austria v Kosovo (B3). Both teams won their first game: Austria 3-1 against Israel and Kosovo 1-0 against Ireland. Rangnick's Austria are missing Alaba, Laimer and Gregoritsch but should still control the game at home. Kosovo striker Muriqi has 19 Nations League goals and assists, second only to Haaland, so a Kosovo goal is likely. This is the first ever meeting.
Gibraltar v Andorra (D1). Andorra lost 2-1 to Malta after leading at half-time. Gibraltar are unbeaten in three but drew 0-0 with São Tomé. Andorra are about 30 places higher in the FIFA rankings, but neither side scores many. Under 2.5 goals is a stronger bet than picking a winner.
Germany v Greece (A2, Augsburg). This is Klopp's second game in charge. He's rotating and has confirmed Nübel in goal. Musiala and Havertz are out; Wirtz and Burkardt come in. Greece won at Serbia and have Pavlidis in form, but they're missing Konstantelias (ACL). Germany are unbeaten in their last 10 meetings with Greece and have won five home competitive games in a row. Germany should win, but the rotation and Greek counter-attacks make a clean sheet unlikely.
Norway v Portugal (A4, Oslo). This is the hardest game to call. Norway reached the World Cup quarter-finals and are unbeaten in 14 at home. Haaland scored twice and Ødegaard set up two against Denmark. They're missing defender Møller Wolfe (suspended). Portugal are the defending champions and lead the head-to-head 8-1 with two draws. They're in their second game under Jorge Jesus and needed 23 shots to score once against Wales. Al Jazeera reports Bruno Fernandes is out injured, while Sports Mole still lists him in its predicted line-up, so check the team sheet. Previews disagree: SI says Norway 2-1, Sports Mole 1-1. Both teams scoring is the safer pick.
Israel v Republic of Ireland (B3, Debrecen, behind closed doors). Both lost on matchday 1: Israel 3-1 in Austria and Ireland 1-0 in Kosovo. The odds are close: Israel 7-5, draw 19-10, Ireland 7-4. Israel have lost four of their last five competitive games but are missing only Abu Farkhi (suspended) plus a few injuries. Ireland have lost just one of their last nine in 90 minutes but are without Collins, Ferguson, Cullen and others. The game went ahead after the Ireland players voted against a boycott, and the build-up has been disrupted. I expect a cagey, low-scoring game.
Columbus Crew v Inter Miami (MLS, 7pm ET). Miami are 3rd but have drawn their last four. Columbus are 13th and alternating wins and losses. Messi (20 goals) and Suárez (13) are available. Squawka's model gives Miami a 44% chance and rates over 2.5 goals and both teams to score at around 72–74%.
