How ScoreSage AI makes a prediction

Two layers do the work. The daily boards grade every fixture with statistical models built for one market at a time — recent form, expected goals (xG), scoring and conceding records, head-to-head history, home and away splits and each league's scoring rate — and rank the results into tiers by signal strength.

For a single match, the prediction engine starts from the betting market rather than a hunch: it takes real bookmaker odds, strips out the bookmaker's margin to get the market's own view of each outcome, and blends that with our models. Where the model and the market agree, a pick is graded higher; where the model's probability beats the price on offer, it is flagged as value. For the biggest games the engine also pulls confirmed lineups, injuries and recent news, and an AI model writes a short analysis grounded in those facts and the numbers above. You can ask our AI about any match yourself, too.

How accurate are AI football predictions? Our record by market

Every published pick since launch, settled automatically on the final score (voids excluded):

First-half over 1.5 picks (retired September 2026) stay on the results page but are not counted in the total.

A hit rate is not profit. First-half goal picks land often partly because they are short-priced; a market only earns its place by beating the odds it is offered at, over a large sample. That is why every published pick is settled automatically on the final score and kept on the verified results page — losses and weaker markets included. What to look for in an AI prediction site

Plenty of sites call their tips "AI". Three questions separate a useful model from marketing: does it publish a full settled record, losses included? Does it start from the odds, so its probabilities can be checked against the market? And does it tell you how confident it is, pick by pick? ScoreSage AI is built around all three. Comparing apps? See Score AI vs ScoreSage AI, or read how AI football predictions work.
