Free odds converter
Different bookmakers and countries quote odds in different formats. This converter switches instantly between decimal (2.50), fractional (3/2) and American (+150) odds, and shows the implied probability so you can compare prices and spot value.
The three odds formats
- Decimal (European): the total return per £1 staked, including your stake — 2.50 returns £2.50 for every £1.
- Fractional (UK): profit relative to stake — 3/2 means £3 profit per £2 staked.
- American (US): +150 means £150 profit on a £100 stake; −200 means you stake £200 to win £100.
Odds and implied probability
Implied probability is the chance the odds suggest, calculated as 100 ÷ decimal odds. Decimal 2.50 implies a 40% chance. Comparing implied probability with your own estimate is the core of finding value — see our value betting guide.
